About Us

Shree D. J. Doshi Gurukul High English Medium High School and Junior College is a co- educational Institution affiliated to Maharashtra State Board Curriculum.
From a humble beginning, the Institute now has over 2850 students and teaching & non teaching staff of above 75.
The Institution aims to provide the students with a tech based learning and teaching environment so that they reach their individual potential by the acquisition of knowledge and the development of personal, cultural and democratic values essential for future success.
We believe that classroom learning is not sufficient to make a child excel in life; therefore we aim to provide students with learning beyond academics, by developing talents through an emphasis on co-curricular and extra- curricular activities.
The teachers are at the heart of the academic programme and the Institute is committed to have motivated and talented teachers who are good counselors too.

Our commitment to education aims at creating a safe, positive and intellectual learning environment and set the stage for students’ achievement and success. Our endeavour is to empower students to become creative problem solvers, critical thinkers, and inspired learners, as they graduate.

Each day, we encourage children of varying abilities, talents and interests, to challenge themselves, celebrate their creativity, initiative and individuality, through their participation in the curricular and co-curricular activities and programmes.

As educators, we have the responsibility to educate children as a whole, which includes mind, heart and soul. Discipline too forms an integral aspect of growth as it helps to develop self-control. School Achievement

The School won the first prize in Sahashalay competition -N Ward
The School won Second prize in Elocution competition (English) – Senior group in Sahashalay competition N Ward. (High School)
The school won Third prize in Elocution competition (English) – Junior group in Sahashalay competition N ward. (High School)
Our Basket ball team under 14 boys won First place at the Taluka level. (High School)
The Junior College group won the Third prize in Sahashalay Competition N Ward for group singing.
Our project was adjudged Third in the zonal level, among nearly 70 projects from different wards, and is now qualified for State level competition. The Smoke Absorber is a device technically designed to absorb pollutants in the air, purify it and emit pollutant free smoke and in the process generate enough electricity that can light up the street lights in the local area.

Junior College Sports achievements:

Bronze Medal in State Level Tennis Volley Ball competition.
Bronze Medal in DSO District Level Taekwondo Competition 2019
Won Carrom competition at District level and was qualified for Divisional level.

School Sports achievements:

Basketball (U/ 14 Boys) qualified for District Level.
Karate (U/17 Boy) won Bronze Medal at District level won by our student Prasanna Sahu.

Admission Procedure

For Jr. College

Admission process for Jr. College is as per the directives from the Education Department. The process of admission is online.

For High School

The Admission for High School depends on availability of seats.
Dates are notified for the initial admission process. The document which is mandatory is the current Academic Report Card with full year’s academic record and attendance.
Admission will be finally decided by the Principal and the selection committee.
The list of applicants selected for admission will also be displayed on Notice Board.
The school does not accept the responsibility of informing the applicants by post about their admission.
Failure to secure admission on the notified day is termed as admission cancelled
Admission will be finalized and confirmed only on production of the originals of the documents and on full payment of the prescribed fees, along with the undertaking and the declaration signed by the father / guardian of the student, as per the rules and procedure laid down by the School.

Infrastructure at Shree D.J. Doshi Gurukul Eng. Med. High School & Junior College aims to maximize learning opportunities to the fullest.
